The Problem

Concorde's premium recreational vehicles are packed with controllable systems — lighting zones, motorised beds, air conditioning, water and gas sensors, tire pressure monitoring, and onboard cameras — all exposed through a custom protocol. The app needed to manage all of this reliably across three connectivity modes, whether the owner is inside the vehicle or hundreds of kilometres away.

The Approach

Built in SwiftUI with a Combine-driven reactive architecture, mirroring the approach proven on the Böckmann project. A unified connectivity layer switches automatically between WiFi, Bluetooth, and LTE. Core Bluetooth handles the custom BLE protocol for close-range control, OpenMaps powers vehicle location tracking, and real-time sensor data — water levels, gas, tire pressure, and energy — is surfaced through a clean dashboard. VTP theft protection triggers instant remote alerts when unauthorised movement is detected.
